TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please ensure you read our terms & condtions before booking..
Bond / Deposit
A bond is required to confirm your booking. A booking is not considered confirmed until the required booking forms is completed and a bond/deposit of $250 has been paid. This will be returned to you within 24 hours after the hire period. This will give us enough time to ensure there has been no damaged caused to our bus
Payment
Full payment must be paid 7 days prior to date of booking.
Cancellations
Should you cancel your booking within 14 days of the hire you will lose your bond/deposit. It means we are losing income, as we would have turned other bookings away for your secured booking. We also do our rosters 2 weeks in advance so we would have already booked your driver.

Extra Time

Should you wish to go over your allocated time, this will be at the discretion of our Driver (due to NZTA Logbook Requirements) Extra time is charged at $300 per hour. All extra charges must be paid for prior to extension.
Departure Times
The pickup time booked is the planned arrival/start time of the vehicle booked. We give our drivers sufficient time to arrive at their destination on time and ready to depart, however, if there are circumstances beyond our control, we cannot be held liable for these delays
However if the bus is late...
In the unlikely event that the bus arrives late for your pickup due to delays, which are often out of our control, we make up the time at the end of the hire.
Break Downs!
Our buses are maintained regularly, and have a COF done every 6 months. However, break downs can happen. If this happens, we will try our hardest to get another bus or other means of transport organised for you. If we are unable to get something sorted ASAP, we will refund the cost of the hire.
Damage Policy
We encourage people to act responsibly and follow guidelines given when entering the bus, of course we want to encourage a fun trip, however this does not extend to breakages and damage to any part of the NUTBUS; The hirer will be held responsible and liable for any damages to the NUTBUS (inside or outside including equipment and fittings), caused by themselves or member of their group. The cost of repair. Example of damage costs: Broken window: $1000 // Broken TV: $1000 // Damaged Seat: $500
Lost Property
We take no responsibility for any items left on our buses, however, any items that are found will be kept in our office for 7 days. After this period, we reserve the right to donate or dispose of the items accordingly.
Liquor License
We have an ON License, which enables us to sell and supply liquor from our buses.
  • NO ID NO ENTRY, you will need to produce current legal photo ID (Passport, NZ Drivers Licence, 18+ Card)
  • Our duty managers reserve the right to refuse service.
  • If we arrive to pick you & your group up and anyone is showing signs of intoxication, they will be refused entry.
  • Alcohol purchased on board our buses must be consumed on the bus. It cannot be taken off the bus at any time.
  • NO BYO at any time! Anyone found bringing alcohol on board will have it taken off them and may risk being evicted from the bus.
  • Food must be always available as part of the hire; we do carry a basic meal on board. We do reserve the right to make FOOD stops, should the duty manager feel the need. We do encourage you to organise food for your bus ride.
Behaviour
Irresponsible, dangerous, or intoxicated behaviour, which compromises the safety of the driver or passengers will not be accepted and will result in the termination of the hire, without any refund. This includes but is not limited to any interference with door controls, emergency controls, drivers’ controls, the roof hatch, any violent or threatening behaviour weather physical or verbal.
Remember we want you to have fun, but we want you to get into it… NOT OUT OF IT!
INTOXICATION
  • If someone is Intoxicated when we arrive to collect you, they will not be able to enter our bus, its against the LAW.
  • If too many of your group is deemed to intoxicated you risk have the bus trip terminated. There will be NO REFUNDS
  • If we have been to another licesned premises and someone has got themselves into a state of intoxication, we will have no choice but to refuse enty to that person. We will have to arrange a taxi for that person to return home at thier cost.
  • If we feel that your group needs it, we will insist on a compulsory food stop (takeaways).
  • We reserve the right to shut our bar at anytime, should we feel people are going overboard.
  • We reserve the right to limit drinks & cut people off from service.

Kapiti. Wairarapa. Palmerston. Feilding. Whanganui.

We can service these areas, however there is a travel charge or $85 per hour of travel (to and from).
Cleaning
The cleaning is something we take care of as part of the hire… HOWEVER if the level of mess is excessive there may be a $150 cleaning charge. Examples of excess mess: Food & drink spilt over seats or floor, rubbish left everywhere and not in the bin provided. If one of your group is sick in the bus. If one of your group urinates in the bus, or If decorations are left on the NUTBUS
